HISTORY:
When Darkseid and Magneto, villains of two universes, united to conquer their respective Earths, the heroes of each universe united as well.  Brought back ten years in the past, the man known as Access met the original Justice League of America and the Avengers. 

Believing a small, powerful strike force was needed to attack the villains on Asteroid M, Access took other heroes, from both the present day and ten years ago such as Superman, Captain Marvel, Jr., the X-Men and Young Justice and amalgamated them to form a new super team known as the X-League. 

Green Lantern HAL JORDAN and Henry Pym, better known as Goliath of the Avengers were turned into one being, Green Goliath.  The new hero possessed the power of both heroes.  Like Green Lantern, he had the might of the power ring which could create energy constructs by the force of the wearer's will.  Using the power of Goliath, he could increase his size to gigantic proportions. 

A strange byproduct of the amalgamation was the shared history each amalgam had, even though they had been created mere minutes before.  Green Goliath had some connection, possibly romantic, to Wonder Wasp, an amalgam of Wonder Girl of Young Justice and the Wasp of the Avengers.  They had fought the Disappearing Living Erasers of Qward sometime in their collective past. 

The heroes used the Justice League satellite to board Asteroid M and found themselves fighting the Brotherhood of Evil Gods, an amalgamation of the New Gods of Apokolips and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.  Green Goliath fought Disastermind, a joining of Desaad and Mastermind.  Disastermind was able to tap into Green Goliath's mind to create the illusion of a yellow blob smothering the hero. 

The X-League eventually triumphed, when Access fought an evil version of himself and turned the tide of battle.  They were later separated and returned to their respective home universes and time periods. 

Green Goliath and the X-League have not been seen since.
