($4.95/$6.50) A "lost" Annual from the 1960's reprinting classic tales of Silver Age Green Lantern Hal Jordan, selected by legendary comics editor Julius Schwartz! Among the stories: "The Battle of Power Rings!", featuring the first appearance of Sinestro wielding his yellow power ring (the story playing a pivotal role in this month's GREEN LANTERN #100), and many others. Plus, the all- new "How I Draw Green Lantern & His Supporting Cast," a 3-page feature by veteran Silver Age GL artist Gil Kane.

GREEN LANTERN #100 - COLLECTOR'S EDITION

An extra-sized issue (with a special double cover) teams Kyle Rayner with Silver Age Green Lantern Hal Jordan as the duo faces Sinestro! A time-lost Kyle interrupts Hal Jordan's first battle with a yellow-power-ring wielding Sinestro. To stop the rogue GL from destroying the Guardians of the Universe, Hal and Kyle need the help of the Green Lantern Corps, but success leads to further complications when Hal helps Kyle return to the present day. Each issue features two covers: one featuring Hal Jordan, the other featuring Kyle Rayner.

Together they comprised one of the greatest teams of the Silver Age: Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Green Arrow Oliver Queen. Their hard-traveling adventures have had an enduring legacy, but, until now, the story of their first meeting has never been revealed. The previously untold story of the very first Green Lantern / Green Arrow team-up appears in LEGENDS OF THE DC UNIVERSE #7- 9. Written by Batman and Green Lantern / Green Arrow scribe Dennis O'Neil, the "Peacemakers" storyline features artwork by the team of penciller Greg Land and original GL / GA inker Dick Giordano, and painted covers by Hugh Fleming. When pilot Hal Jordan makes a delivery to a war-torn Asian country, he meets maverick millionaire Oliver Queen, who is there investigating thefts from Queen Industries.
