| You
will need the following:
-
12"
GI Joe 2010 Operation: Shadow Ops figure - Helicopter
Flight Suit and Boots (or Dragon
seal jump suit, boots
and vest)
- Dragon
Models White Flight Helmet - Mini
locker Start with the 12"
Joe body. Simply strip the uniform off him and discard (or re-sell on ebay). Notice
he looks pretty much like Hal off the bat except for the small scar on his cheek
and his hair is not quite right. You have the option to get some sculpty and mold
and shape his famous "comma" hair, or simply leave is as the helmet
will cover the hair. Put on the Jumpsuit, vest and black boots too. The
Dragon Models White Helmet HGU-33/P WHITE ($9.99) is really cool, but still needs
Hal's name on it. You can use Dry Transfer letter's (Helvetica 12 point) if you
can find them, or simply print them out on your computer on sticky back paper/label
and cut to size and stick on.
The next part is optional
too, I added his power ring with putty then painted green. The sunglasses came
from a three pack I got for the final custom in this series, a bomber jacket,
jeans and glasses from Dragon Models as well. The locker's was found
on ebay, just type mini-locker or locker in the search. I then repainted
it grey and used masking tape and wrote his name on it with a marker. That way
it looks like he did it himself! Inside the locker's pretty cool, because it has
an upper shelf for the power battery. That's pretty much it! Happy customizing!
The fun
thing about this figure is there are so many ways to piece mail him together,
just visit small blue planet and take a look around. Several items can be found
to create your own Test pilot Hal Jordan! Ref Links: www.smallblueplanet.com Coming
